Enjoying Warmth

A tortoiseshell she-cat was in the back of the medicine cat den, storing some herbs that she had found that morning. "Watermint and juniper berries for bellyache, and chevril for infected wounds.." she murmured quietly to herself. Even thought it was greenleaf and the prey was plentiful, that also meant that predators are growing stronger as well. Because of this the young medicine cat, Specklestep, has to stay alert for any injuries the warriors might bring to her.

Long slender frame was pulled out from the enterence of her den. Fore paws were pulled out gently to stretch the long ivory she-cat. Triangulars pricked slightly as the she-cat looked 'pon the enterence of Specklesteps den. Small flicker of movement caught her attention and she-cat gently padded forward. Slender pads gently pressed into the soft soil below them as she made her way across the camp. Gently she pushed the bracken aside and entered into the mdeicince cats den. Morning Specklestep. Lyrics were easy as the deep ermail ooids caught sight of the many hued she-cat scurring through her supplies.

The calico cat's ears pricked slightly a she looked up, her eyes showing respect when she noticed who was standing in her den. "Good morning, Snowstar," she mewed, returning to sort her herbs. She put out a black paw to push away some berries that had rolled out in front of her, awaiting an an answer on why the leader wanted to talk to her.

Femmora watched the Specklestep for a few moments, allowing a small silence to develope. Triangulars pulled backwards as the sounds of the clan slowly began to emerge from behind her. She slowly padded forward and came closer to the she-cat. Only about a mouse-length away she allowed herself to sit down, pulling her tail 'pon her for paws. Tiara dropped down slightly as the she-cat let her ermald ooids scann the medicine cats facade. Have you had a dream from StarClan? She let her voice out in a low tone, so that she would not be over heard. She watched, wondering if she had or not. It had seemed to quite for the past few months. Something had to be up.
